KindCare Adult Day and Health Center plays a critical role in easing the emotional and physical strain on caregivers while ensuring that their loved ones receive exceptional care. Caregivers often feel overwhelmed, with nearly 60% experiencing burnout, which can leave them exhausted and emotionally drained. By providing caregivers with a much-needed break, KindCare allows them to recharge, knowing their loved ones are in a safe, nurturing environment where their well-being is a priority.
For participants, KindCare addresses the unique challenges faced by seniors and dependent adults, such as the risk of falls, social isolation, and malnutrition. These are more than just physical concerns; they affect the emotional well-being of loved ones as well. Falls are the leading cause of injury in older adults, while social isolation has been linked to higher risks of depression and cognitive decline. At KindCare, participants are engaged in supervised activities, enjoy nutritious meals, and benefit from social interaction, all of which contribute to their overall health, happiness, and sense of belonging. Furthermore, medication management helps reduce hospital readmissions, giving families peace of mind that their loved ones are receiving comprehensive, attentive care that promotes long-term wellness.
Our team consists of licensed nurses (RN and LPN) , and experienced caregivers who are trained in CPR , first aid , in geriatric care, chronic disease management, and other essential services. We meet and exceed the staffing requirements set by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS).
